Candance Turner graduated from Salt Lake Community College as a Physical Therapist Assistant in December 2019. She currently serves on the Education & Career Pathway Advisory Committee (ECPAC) at Salt Lake Community College advocating for continued education with students in the PTA program representing pediatrics. Candance recently started her Advanced Proficiency Pediatric Pathway Program through the National APTA and is excited to advance her career. She is passionate about helping children gain their highest potential within the scope of Physical Therapy and gets to see miracles every day at IPTI as she helps them build pathways for success. As a previous educator in early childhood development, she can utilize learning and play throughout her treatments. After all children’s work is PLAY, no matter the ability they currently have.

Candance is married to her best friend of 28 years and is the mother of 4 children (and 2 bonus children with her oldest two now married). Candance has also been involved extensively with the Utah Hemophilia Foundation (UHF) for 20 years as a volunteer with her children, who also have multiple bleeding disorders. She enjoys ANYTHING Disney, fun toys that help educate and spark involvement with her patients, dark chocolate, Diet Coke, Diet Dr. Pepper, playing games, hosting Sunday dinners, gardening, camping, being outdoors in general, and especially spending time with her family and friends.
